The application window for submitting an application through on-line mode or downloading of off-line application
form with a printed challan of Punjab National Bank (erstwhile United Bank of India)/India Post will remain operative for the period January 22 to February 20(5 P.M.). However, the last date for depositing Application and/or Processing Fees only in respect of on-line applicants using Punjab National Bank (erstwhile United Bank of India) challan, will be February 23, 2021.

Applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (of West Bengal only) shall pay the processing fees of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only as they are exempted from paying any application fees. However, shortlisted candidates are required to produce their SC/ST certificates issued by the competent authority at the time of verification at the time of the Interview.
How to Apply
Applicants will be able to submit applications under this mode using the website wbpolice.gov.in by filling up their information including scanned photograph and signature. Applicants are advised to follow the procedure properly for applying through online mode.
Payment of Application and/or Processing Fees can be made on-line through payment gateway by using Debit
Cards/Credit Cards/Net-Banking of any Bank. Fees can also be paid through different e-wallets and Bharat QR
and UPI App. An amount of Rs. 5/- (Rupees five) only will be charged by the agency concerned as “Service
Charge” for availing Debit Cards/Credit Cards/Net-Banking/e-wallet/another App facility.
On successful submission of the application, the applicants shall be provided with a copy of the Application Form with his/her photograph, signature, and unique Application Serial No. by the system. Candidates are advised to preserve it safely and mention the Application Sl. No. for all future communications, if required, with the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
Request for change/correction in the Application Form SHALL NOT be entertained under any circumstances after final submission. The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non-acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion in any particular field in the application form whatever the reasons may be.

Online submission through Sahaj Mitr Kendras
The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board extends the facility to submit applications through Sahaj Mitr Kendras. Applicants may approach any of the Sahaj Mitr Kendras (List provided on the website) with all particulars and a recent passport size photograph. The authorized staff of Kendra will fill up the online application form on the basis of information provided by the applicant.
In case of any difficulties in downloading the off-line application form or in submitting the online application form the prospective applicants are advised to communicate either through telephone (Contact No. 7044108689 & 7044109346) during office hours (10 AM to 05:30 PM) from Monday to Friday and 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM on Saturdays (except Govt. Holidays) or through e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Question: How do I know that my application is registered?
Answer: Successful submission of the Application Form is indicated by the Page displayed after clicking the “Submit” button and will be redirected to the completion page where you will get your Application data printout. The file can also be saved on your computer hard drive or any other storage media deemed fit by you. Your Application Number will also be available in that printout. You need to preserve the same for all future references pertaining to this recruitment drive.
Question: I have passed Madhyamik/ Secondary School Exams, do I need to fill up all the blank spaces in that segment?
Answer: No. It is only applicable for applicants having higher qualifications than Madhyamik/ Secondary School Exams. They will fill up as per their qualification.
Question: Can I change my mobile number/e-mail Id?
Answer: Once entered while filling up the application, it cannot be changed and it should remain with you till the end of this recruitment, otherwise the information cannot be received by you from time to time.
Question: I have forgotten my password, what should I do?
Answer: Please do not panic, put your username and click on the “forgot password” option, you will be allowed to give a fresh password and you will get again an SMS on your registered mobile number.
Question: Do I need to send any hard copy of my application to WBPRB, if I am applying on-line?
Answer: Your application once submitted has already reached WBPRB electronically. Hard copy submission is only required for off-line applicants.
