SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria For The UPSC ISS 2020 Is As Follows:

Nationality: A Candidate Must Be Either –

  • A Citizen Of India, Or
  • A Subject Of Nepal, Or
  • A Subject Of Bhutan.

Age:

  • For Gen/UR 20 – 25 years as on 01 Jan 2021.
  • Age Relaxation (in upper age): 05 Years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC/ Ex-servicemen.

Educational Qualification & Experiences:

  • For all posts Bachelor Degree  from a recognised university or its equivalent.
  • For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only: Male candidates should have  Driving Licence for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement.

SSC CPO Application Form

The Application Form for the SSC CPO 2020 is available on the Official Website as per the schedule. however, Applications received without the prescribed Fee were not be considered and summarily rejected. and, No representation against such rejection was entertained. No other mode of Application is allowed. Candidates are hereby informed that the details provided in the online Application Form will be used for all future references and No modification can be done subsequently. Candidates are advised to be very careful while filling the Application Form.

Application Fee & Mode Of Payment:

  • General/OBC Candidates – 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only).
  • Female/SC/ST/PwBD – Exempted

Mode of Payment: Fee can be Paid Through Bhim UPI, either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using Net Banking Facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card. Online Fee can be paid by candidate up to 18 July 2020.

Applicants who opt for “Pay By Cash” mode, should print the system generated Pay-In-Slip during Part-II Registration and deposit the Fee at the counter of SBI Branch In the Bank working hours  Only. “Pay By Cash” mode option will be activated up to 22 July 2020 but Challan should be generated  Before the 23:30 hours of 20 July 2020.

How To Apply

Candidates are required to apply Online using the Link www.ssc.nic.in. In detailed Instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above-mentioned Website.

Before start filling up Online Application, A candidate must have his/her recent Photograph (not be more than 3 months old) with a date on which photograph has been taken should be printed on the photograph and Signature duly scanned in the. Jpg format in such a manner that each file size should be in between  20 KB and 50 Kb with a dimension of 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).

The photograph should be without cap, spectacles and both ears should be visible. The candidate will be required to complete the application form in three stages apart from fee payment as per the given instruction, after completing all the steps check the status should be “Complete”.

In Part I Registration, the candidate will have to fill Basic Information and in part II Additional Contact Details will be filled. In Part-III Registration consists of filling up uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document, Selection of Examination centres and agreeing to the declaration.

On submission of details, the candidate will be prompted to check the details and make a correction, If any, in the application then click on the final submit. After final submission registration no. as Login Id and password will be sent to the given email id for further uses in the online Fee payment Process.The payment method is not For Fee Exempted Candidates.

The applicants are advised to submit an only single application, however, if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher RID (Registration ID) is complete in all respects like applicants’ Details, Examination Center, Photograph, Signature, Fee, etc.

SSC CPO Admit Card

Admit card for each exam separately available on the website before 3-7 days of the exam date. Candidate can download their admit cards through Login Id and password. Candidate must carry two-colored recent passport size photographs, Admit Card, and a valid Id proof with having the same basic details entered in the application form. No admit card will be sent to the candidate’s address through post and mail. the candidate is not allowed for examination if he does not bear the admit card at the Exam centres. No reporting late candidate will allow inside the exam hall. They must read the detailed instruction given in the admit card for conduct in the exam centre.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for SSC CPO given below:

The examination consists of paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All stage of examination is mandatory to qualify.

In both papers Questions will be type of Objective Multiple  Choice. Question will be set in Hindi and English in the part-I, II, III of paper 1. The Commission has the discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination.

Negative Marking: 0.25  marks will be deducted for each wrong answers given by candidates. No marks will be deducted and given for unattended questions.

Exam Centres

A candidate is have to opt. three centres according to their priority order with in the same region. Further choice of examination centre will not be changed under any circumstances. The commission has full rights to cancel any centre and can ask for another centre. The examination will be held at centres with their regions are:

SSC CPO Selection Procedure

The Staff Selection Commission obtain a list of those candidates who will qualify the paper-I Computer Based Exam, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II Computer Based Exam, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Those Candidates who qualify Paper-II will be required to submit the original certificates along with one Photocopy each Of : (I) Original Matriculation Pass Certificate Or Equivalent In Support Of Date Of Birth, (II) Original 10+2 Pass Certificate Or Equivalent In Support Of Educational Qualification. Final merit will be obtained by adding bonus marks of the NCC Type certificate.
