MHT CET Admit Card

Candidates are able to download the admit card from the official website as per the schedule. Candidates must check that all the details mentioned in the admit card are correct, and in case of any discrepancy contact the officials as soon as possible. It must be remembered that it is necessary to bring the MHT CET 2021 Admit Card to the exam center on the day of the exam. On the day of the exam, students have to carry the printed copy of the admit card accompanied by a photo identity card in original and a PWD certificate if applicable.

MHT CET 2021 Examination Pattern

Candidate can check MHT CET 2021 Exam pattern Below:

Mode:

  • The state-level exam is only held in online mode, as a computer-based test.

Duration:

  • For paper 1 (PCM Group) – The total duration for the  Examination is 180 Minutes in which the Candidate has to solve 150 questions.
  • For paper 2 (PCB Group) –  The total duration for the Examination is 180 Minutes in which the Candidate has to solve 200 question

Language:

Questions will be available in English/ Urdu/ Marathi languages. However, Question Paper in Urdu & Marathi will only be available to the candidates who have opted for that particular language/medium as preferred Language for Question Paper in the online CET Application form.

Question Type:

  • All the questions in the exam are of multiple choice type. Candidates get 4 answer options and only 1 is correct.

Marking Scheme:

  • For each correct answer, candidates get Physics, Chemistry subjects will have 1 mark for each question and Mathematics subject will have 2 marks for each question.
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects will have 1 mark for each question.

Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the exam

Total no. of questions –

  • Group I (PCM) – There are a total of 150 questions with 200 marks.
  • Group II (PCB) – There are a total of 200 questions with 200 marks.

NOTE: The examination pattern is as follows :

  • The questions will be based on the Syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  • Approximately 20% of weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std. XII curriculum while setting the question paper.
  •  MHT-CET 2020 will be conducted in two groups i.e. PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

MHT CET Paper Groups

One important thing to note in MHT CET 2020 is that the candidates are divided into groups as per the subjects that they appear for in the exam. The groups are:

Exam Centers

 Note: If candidates opt for both groups i.e. PCM and PCB, then they might be allotted different examination centers for PCM paper and a different one for PCB paper.
