CMAT 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for CMAT 2021 on December 23, 2020. The online application was available up to January 22, 2021. Now the exam will be held on March 31, 2021. Re-registration is started and was available up to March 01, 2021. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for CMAT 2021 from the official website. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to management programs in the country. CMAT 2021

CMAT facilitates AICTE affiliated/ Participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions. Till 2018, the Test was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE- Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges.

For the Academic Year (2021), Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow will also use the score sheet of CMAT-2021 for admission to MBA (Master of Business Administration) Course in its affiliated Colleges across the State of Uttar Pradesh.

Important Notice

CMAT-2021 Entrance Examination has been postponed, as AICTE has now proposed a change in the examination pattern having an additional (optional) section for the Entrance Examination to be held in 2021 for candidates interested in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Candidates who had applied earlier can opt for this course by editing their Application Form during the correction window which will be made available after the closure of this fresh registration.

CMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for the academic year 2021-22, can also apply for CMAT 2021. There is no age restriction. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

CMAT 2021 Application Form

Candidates have to apply for CMAT 2021 “Online” ONLY by accessing the website: cmat.nta.nic.in. The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate is rejected. Read the Information Brochure carefully for sure about his/her eligibility and acquaint with requirements for submission of
Online Application Form.

Application Fees

  • General (UR): Male ₹ 2000/- Female- ₹ 1000/-
  • Gen-EWS/ SC/ST/PwD /OBC-(NCL):  Male- ₹ 1000/- Female- ₹ 1000/-
  • Transgender:  ₹ 1000/-

The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. The Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the Examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.

How to Apply

Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using your own Email Id and Mobile No.

Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number.

Step-3: Upload scanned images of:

  • (i) a recent photograph (file size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in color or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background;
  • (ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb);
    (iii) PWD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb) in jpg/jpeg format.

Step-4: Pay the fee using SBI/HDFC Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Wallet. Keep proof of fee paid.

Download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form for future reference.

CAT 2021 Admit Card

The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date, timing and discipline as indicated in their Admit Card. No candidate is allowed to appear at the Examination center, on a Date and timing other than that allotted to them in their Admit Card.

In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

CMAT Exam Pattern

  • The medium of the Question Paper in English only.
  • Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
  • For each correct response, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks. For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.

CMAT 2021 Answer Key

The NTA will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA website: cmat.nta.nic.in, with a Public Notice, issued to this effect on the said website, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged as processing charges. The provisional Answer Keys are probably displays for two to three days.

Display of Recorded Responses

The NTA will display the recorded responses and Question Paper attempted by the candidates on the NTA website cmat.nta.nic. prior to the declaration of the result. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed for two to three days.

Declaration of Results

The result will be compiled based on the Final Answer Keys. No grievance with regard to Answer Key(s) after the Declaration of Result of CMAT-2021 will be entertained. The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the Result of CMAT-2021. No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates. The candidates are advised to download their Score Cards from the website: cmat.nta.nic.in only.
